The Most Amazing Location Ever Visited

It takes a lot to beat some of the locations we have been to, but the Coal House fort managed to surprise everyone within our group. Its quite normal on a investigation to take a little while before you may experience something, but on this occasion it took less than 5 minutes. Read on if you would like to know about what we encountered including two possessions, a brutal rape, and figures in all corners of the fort

Once again I teamed up with the fabulous UKGI team, the UK's leading paranormal investigating team ( including television appearances / radio broadcasts / Books), and we headed off to East Tilbury where our location was awaiting.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Elizabeth, a member of the Coal House Fort project, who would also be one of our guides for the night  After a brief introduction we proceeded to tour the fort, this allowed us to become familiar with the location but also to understand which areas were out of bounds (the fort is currently being restored).

While touring the fort, Heidi the group leader and respected medium, had picked up on many names and also experienced a shooting pain in her leg, she mentioned to Simon (CHFP team leader) that she felt a man had lost there leg in a certain location, and later smelt an aroma in the air reflecting "Burning Flesh"  This was later confirmed by Simon as being an actual event.

Our group was split up into 4 groups of two plus a member of the CHFP. Myself, Elizabeth and Aimi entered what everyone predicted was the most disturbed room at the time.

A remote digital camera was set up in the corner of the room, as it appears to the left (remember the room is pitch black).  We were becoming familiar with the environment when after a few minutes i was filming Aimi and noticed that she did not seem right. I called out her name repeatedly but there was no response, so I stepped towards her and called out again, this time after a jolt she responded, I asked if she was ok, and she seemed slightly concerned and asked to step outside which she did. Being slightly worried i continued to use the night vision equipment to monitor her wellbeing, but as soon as she stepped outside into the corridor, she broke down, so we decided it was time to evacuate this room for the moment.

I tried calling Heidi on the radio, but received no response (the radios had worked previously) but after a few tries she did reply, and decided to meet us outside. As Heidi approached she handed me my EVP recorder and said listen to what came over the radio while she proceeded to comfort Aimi

Upon playback of the EVP recording we were able to make out what sounded like a scream. This recording is currently being analysed, but due to the nature of how the radios work, the scream could only have come from room 10, as once I had pressed the button down, no one else can talk until I release.

Myself and Elizabeth decided to go back to room 10, and Heidi went back to room 4 and took Aimi with her, who was back to her cheery self. As I was filming in room 10 i started to talk to Elizabeth when as i looked round I felt a presence in the corner of the room, this presence was visible to me and was crouching against the wall with their arms around there legs, and their nature was as if they were inconsolable. I explained what i had seen to Elizabeth who explained she would reveal all at the end.

As the group were heading back to base, I heard an evil laugh come from the corridor which hastened my exit. But as we left the tunnel I explained to Elizabeth, that a voice had warned me to not be in that area between 2 and 3 am. A point which was proved to be true as the nights events went on.

After a well needed cup of tea, the groups merged and myself, Heidi, Sharon, Cathy Elizabeth and Georgia headed back to Room 10, as Alan, Matt, Andrew, Simon and Kevin visited the latrines. Within minutes of entering room 10 Heidi started to feel cold and nauseous and saw " a presence" appear in her face, which i can confirm happened to myself upon first entering the room. Heidi also picked up on a presence trying to enter her, and someone in the corner of the room!!!!. But again this room proved a little foreboding, as my night vision equipment kept going black, a report which is apparently common amongst other groups, and there was also a constant feeling of energies latching on to us, which eventually became so overpowering we had to leave the area.

While this was going on the guys also had an exceptional experience over the other side of the fort. Details will be include once their report has been created, but as an insight, Alan who is usually the more sceptical member of the group, managed to describe, in graphic detail, a horrendous male rape which had taken place, describing in minute detail exactly what happened. All these details were confirmed by Simon once again. It was also noted that a trigger object had moved in this area.

After a few more breaks we visited tunnels from 24 downwards, where attempted silent vigils where held, we decided to set up the cameras (as it was approaching 2 am) in and along the corridor of room 10. Now i had pre warned everyone regarding the comment i received about not being there between 2 and 3 am, but the group chose to hold a séance in the next room up. We all sat on the benches and Heidi commenced the séance. We were all aware of presences in the room, i felt two and let the group know that one of them was walking around us looking to enter one of the mediums. Kevin started to breath erratically, yet we called to him and he calmed down, but before we knew it Cathy called out as she felt Heidi going. Within minutes Heidi was distressed and started crying out " don't hurt my baby" repeatedly, Simon quizzed her and asked who was hurting the baby, and she replied "George", George is hurting my baby.

Within a few minutes Alan was able to bring Heidi out of her trance state, and the group decided to head back to the base and call it a night.
