Over the last year Myself and members from the uk's most respected paranormal team have undertaken a private investigation at the request of a resident and mother of 3 in a house located in the east coast of the country.

Unlike investigations which are held in commercial or highly investigated properties, the uniqueness of private locations are beneficial in many ways. There is very little information available to the lead mediums, this means that any information that is obtained becomes harder to verify. This also can be a positive because if the information is verified it is harder to dismiss than in standard locations.

But more importantly we as a team are there to understand and help the family understand what is going on within there property.

Poltergeist activity is widely reported in many homes across the world, an experience which many would rather not have. These experiences or attacks as some would see it have a detrimental effect on the wellbeing of the residents. But before i detail the experiences of these residents its best that we understand what a poltergeist is and the many stages or forms it can take.

Poltergeist have intrigued me for many years, and if I was to be asked i would prefer to see this type of activity as opposed to a full apparition. Ultimately behind this kind of experience is fear, there is normally a host upon which the "spirit" will become attached. Over the years many people who have reported this type of activity have believed that if they move home that they will be free from this spirit, but time after time this has proved to be untrue, with activity continuing in a multitude of locations and not just the home.

While there are many beliefs regarding what poltergeists actually are, we are going to concentrate on the two main forms upon which they reveal themselves.

Entities

Unlike normal, if such a word can be used poltergeist activity, an entity is believed to be a demonic spirit. For this to be believed you would have to believe in one of the many religions. For in nearly all religions there are good and evil figures under a varying number of titles. But while these forms of spirits are rare there are many documented cases worldwide and as usual there are two ways of viewing this phenomena, spiritually and psychological.

One of the most widely reported cases was that of a Carla Moran, an American lady who was allegedly attacked by an unseen spirit. These attacks were very violent and in many cases she reported being raped by the spirit. There were many witnesses to these attacks including her own son. This case was investigated in detail of which most of the facts can be found on the web so i wont cover old ground. But ultimately she reported that she had felt three demons attack her, two who restrained and one who abused her body.

The above photos were taken by parapsychologists during a vigil, where it was believed that the spirits were becoming week.
