Private House
Investigation, Wallasey Saturday 21st
January 2006
Interview with
Residential Owner
Prior to our
investigation Tricia had an
interview with the owner to find out
what experiences they had in the
property, details of which can be
detailed below.
|
History
-
The owner
provided Tricia with all
the deeds for the
property and we where
able to produce all the
owners names of the
property.
-
The
owners reported that
before they purchased
the property an old lady
had lived in the house
on her own and it seemed
that she had solely
lived in one back
bedroom as it was
covered in nicotine and
they had found more
stuff left in that room.
(Interestingly enough
this is the room the
owner reports more
activity)
-
The
property was built in
1894
-
The owner
informed us that when
she moved into the
property she had
discovered a ‘cross’
hung in a cupboard.
This cupboard had since
been destroyed to make
way for stair access
into the loft area (the
underneath of these
stairs has a gap and is
yet to be blocked up).
The owner did not want
to chuck the cross out
and so she had it buried
behind plaster board by
the loft entrance.

Activity
-
Owner
informed us the
‘activity’ had started
since she moved in 7
years ago
-
Both the
owner and her sister
where stripping
wallpaper in the
property when her sister
felt like a ‘child’ had
touched her ear.
-
All
residents of the
property have heard
‘footsteps’ in the
property, especially on
the stairs.
-
After
separating from her
husband, he visited one
day and got ‘pushed’ by
invisible hands across
the room.
-
The
owners reported ‘voice
mimicking’ and
‘whispering’
-
One of
the back bedroom seemed
to be highly active;
although they reported
the whole house seemed
active this was where
the most energy was
focused.
-
The
owners often smell
‘Lavender’ in the
property especially when
they first moved in.
-
The
owners reported that in
the back bedroom (where
most activity has been
reported) incidents of
items of clothing had
been moved around on the
ironing board.
-
The
children often report
that their wardrobe
doors seem to ‘rattle’
-
Both
adults in the house
report that they have
heard whispering
conversations outside
their bedroom door and
footsteps on the stairs.
-
Objects
have also been moved
around the house
|
|
Significant
Incidents
-
One
significant incident was
when the owner had gone
to work and left a
gentleman plastering the
bathroom on his own in
the house. Whilst
plastering a man in blue
overalls and white hair
came to the doorway and
stood looking in as if
to say ‘what you up to
in there’. The
plasterer reported the
incident to the owner
and presumed it was her
father but the owner
confirmed that her
parents lived out Wales
way. The plasterer
never returned.

Investigation
The investigation was
carried out on Saturday 21st
January 2006, the group members who
attend where as follows:
Andy (Paranormal
Kingdom)
Tricia (Paranormal
Kingdom)
Keith (Paranormal
Kingdom)
Nicky (Guest/Tricia’s
Sister)
The only family
present in the house where the owner
and her partner.
Group Walk around
Upon arrival Tricia
and Nicky spent time speaking to the
owners over their experiences whilst
Andy and Keith took a walk around
the property and went to set some
equipment up. Tricia’s walk around
with Andy didn’t uncover much but
some rooms felt more ‘uneasy’ than
others, especially the small back
bedroom (which most activity has
been reported). It was noted on the
walk around that this back bedroom
was now used as an ‘ironing room’
and Andy reported that sometimes
people would feel ‘uneasy’ ironing
with their back to the door and
would often turn the ironing board
to face the doorway. Upon asking
the lady she confirmed that she
ironed facing the door. After this
walk around the group chatted
further with the owners downside.
Andy picked up on the
name ‘Ernie’ and that he could
possibly be present in the house.
This collaborates with past deed
references as Ernie was present
within the property. (We can
confirm that the only group member
who had access to this information
is Tricia and no part of the
information was disclosed to any
other group members).
Keith and Andy went
and set some equipment up in the
attic area, upon review after tea
the ‘webcam’ had been turned to face
the wall. No people had entered the
attic so this seems strange. We
split into 2 groups, with Andy and
Nicky concentrating on the attic
area and Keith, Tricia and the 2
owners conducting a séance in the
kitchen area. Both groups started
there séances at the same time and
some interesting evidence seemed to
come out.
|
Group 01
(Andy and Nicky)
Andy and
Nicky conducted a séance in
the upper levels of the
house and started their
séance at exactly the same
time as the group
downstairs. What is most
surprising is that whilst
the group downstairs firstly
started chatting to ‘Annie’
the group upstairs had been
speaking to a man. When
Group 02 asked Samuel to
come forward to the table
downstairs (after they had
spoken to Annie) the group
upstairs suddenly lost their
connection with the man from
upstairs as if he had left
them to come down to Group
02.
Andy later
mentioned that on the way
upstairs he had the name
‘Samuel’ come to him but
dismissed the name as this
had been given to him on a
previous investigation at
Edinburgh Vaults and had
turned out to be Tricia’s
Grandfather’s name. However
we can show that Samuel did
come and speak to Group 02
on the table.
Andy and
Nicky reported that Nicky
was being ‘pushed’ forward
when Andy was asking
questions to positive
responses. They found out
that the man they where
speaking to (we presume was
Samuel) was happy with the
work that had been done to
the garden and that he was
responsible for the opening
and rattling of the wardrobe
doors, he told the group
that he liked staying on the
upper floors as this was his
domain. Nicky was also
sub-consciously shown a
‘trinket box’ which Samuel
had lost in the garden, Andy
confirmed later that the
picture Nicky drew of what
she was shown was also what
he had been shown.
The most
frightful experience for the
group was half way through
their vigil when they lost
‘contact’ with Samuel and
had radioed downstairs for
an update. They could not
get any response from Group
02 and persistently tried.
However downstairs the
walkie talkie was positioned
near Keith and he was trying
to respond but Group 01 was
not picking up the
connection, it wasn’t until
Tricia responded did Group
02 get a response which
frightened the life out of
them (we have video evidence
to prove it!!!). We can
only presume that because
Keith was asking the
questions that Samuel was
using the energy from the
walkie talkie to maintain a
connection. Let’s say Group
01 nearly needed an
ambulance with the fright!
They then
joined Group 02 downstairs
who seemed to be having more
success with maintaining
contact.

Group 02
(Tricia/Keith and 2 Owners)
Conversation
with ‘Annie’
Group 02
started a séance using a
glass on the table. The
séance started off slow with
no much movement until one
of the owners started
chanting a Spanish Hail Mary
and the glass seemed to
respond. It was worth
noting that this act scared
Tricia and Keith half to
death but proved to be
useful! The first person to
come to the table was ‘Anne’
past deed records show that
an ‘Annie’ was the last
person to reside in the
house, she was less than
impressed with Keith calling
her Annie and preferred that
we addressed her as ‘Anne’.
She seemed a
strong lady as the glass was
moved with such force. Anne
confirmed that she had been
‘mimicking’ the families
voices, Keith asked her if
she could cease doing this
as it frightened the
children, Anne agreed. She
told the group she was happy
where she was and was also
happy that the present
owners had made a garden in
which her brother would have
been happy with. She
confirmed that she was the
person who had pushed the
owners ex-husband as she was
very ‘protective’ of the
owner.
Anne
confirmed that the
whispering and voices the
family hear are her actually
talking to her brother who
also resides in the house
and that noises that the
family often hear is her
trying to get there
attention.
The group
identified that Anne’s
brother was present and they
asked him to step forward.
Conversation
with ‘Samuel’
Samuel then
came to the table, again a
strong character and was
such that Tricia had to be
removed from the table as
she felt ‘physically sick’.
Nicky stepped
onto the table in Tricia’s
place and the group
continued to speak to
Samuel. Samuel confirmed
that he was Anne’s brother
and was a bit of a joker.
He told the group he was a
big hearted man and that he
loved the house. He
confirmed that he only came
in visitation and it was him
who had scared the plasterer
that day, and that he had
only come to see what he was
doing.
Samuel
confirmed to the group that
he was unhappy because he
couldn’t see his sister, he
could only talk to her, the
group asked Samuel if he
could we help him and he
confirmed that the cross
which was buried in the wall
would help him and his
sister see each over again.
He confirmed to the group
that by removing this from
the wall and placing it
under the stairs it would
mean that they could meet up
again.

Conclusion:
Most
intriguing and successful is
the fact that we conducted 2
separate vigils and had such
success with the matching up
of certain information and
the moment Group 01 lost
their connection with the
man and then Group 02 began
speaking to Samuel as if he
had come downstairs.
Andy picked
up on 2 names in the house
‘Ernie’ and ‘Samuel’ which
can both be linked back to
past records, it is
worthwhile noting that Andy
never has access to History
records so there would be no
way he could second guess
these names!
After
interviewing Nicky she finds
it hard to explain the
feelings of ‘being pushed’
but is adamant that is was
something pushing her
forward, we cannot rule out
sub-conscious behaviour in
this instance but it seems
funny that again information
from Group 01 can be linked
with Group 02 findings.
Afterwards
the owner confirmed that
when she moved in the upper
floors looked like they had
been used as a workshop and
a lot of old tools had been
left behind, could we link
this to ‘Samuel’s domain’ of
the upper floors?
The owners
confirmed that they had
never found any trinket box
when landscaping the new
garden so this evidence may
just have to remain as
unconfirmed evidence.
The most
exciting outcome of the
evening had to be after we
had closed the connection
with both Samuel and Annie
and the owner stated they
wished to remove the cross
from behind the wall as
Samuel had asked. All
members went up and the
owner removed the cross from
behind the plasterboard,
they then placed the cross
under the gap in the stair
well (to be covered up at a
later date) most of the team
members who where stood on
the stairs felt 2 separate
breezes one going up and one
coming down the stairs.
Whilst this was unexplained
we could say that it was
Samuel and Annie going to
meet each other.
Post-Investigation Update:
Tricia has
since spoken to the owners
who have confirmed that
things have quietened down
in the house since the team
visited and no major
disturbances have been
reported.
We would like
to personally thank the
owners of the house for
inviting us and cooking us
an amazing meal! They have
asked us to return and we
are hoping to do so in
April.
